When we reviewed O2 travel insurance we discoverd that O2 have really broken the mould with their new travel insurance product, which enables you, the policyholder, to adapt the policy to your lifestyle. It also offers features that are just not available elsewhere - such as the optional car hire excess insurance - and their 'Flow' option enables you to top up or reduce cover during the year - great if you are having one blow out holiday costing thousands and then a series of bargain breaks!

What we like:
- About the most adaptable policy we have ever seen
- Offers car hire excess insurance - as an option and the 'Flow' product lets you add it when you want it and remove it when you don't!
- Great for independent travellers - has protection against supplier failure built in
What we are not so keen on:
- Finding the policy wording can be tricky if you don't know where to look (a link from the FAQs would be good!). If you go to the 'Get a Price' pages its towards the top right hand corner of the page.
