Once you have entered the rest of your information, you will be provided with quotes from a company that can cover the excess on a peer to peer rental.
If you choose to purchase, please click on Quick Buy. You will need to add the peer to peer upgrade when you go through to the insurer’s site to ensure this option is included in your cover.
What cover is provided by the quotes?
These policies will cover the excess on the cover provided by the peer to peer rental firm up to the policy limits. They can also cover you for charges you face due to accidental damage to windscreens, tyres, roof or under-carriage.
When these policies are used to cover a peer to peer rental – as opposed to a standard vehicle rental – the policy limits are £1500 per incident and £3000 per rental agreement.
Please read all terms and conditions for full understanding of the cover provided.
Can peer to peer excess insurance include Collision Damage Waiver or Supplentary Liability Insurance?
Unfortunately not. You may see in your results that the policies appear to include these elements. The policies shown are also available to cover standard rentals and when used for this purpose they can include CDW and SLI. When the policy is used for a peer to peer rental, this cover is not applicable.
If you require Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Waiver or Third party cover, please speak to your peer to peer rental company.
Will these policies also cover peer to peer motorhome rentals?
No, these policies are only available for cars. If you wish to cover a peer to peer motorhome rental please visit Rentalcover.
