We review the features of Worldwide Insure Car Hire Insurance policiesSearch for Car Hire Excess Insurance
Worldwide Insure car hire insurance offers renters the opportunity to buy either short term (up to 180 days) or annual car hire insurance policies. You will find substantially lower rates than those charged at the rental desk by car hire companies. Get a quote directly from Worldwide Insure
The company offers one of the widest range of policies in the market, covering excess amounts from £5,000 to £50,000. Whilst we list below some of the areas you can protect with a Worldwide Insure policy, you will find our car hire insurance comparison service details the different policies in greater depth.
Worldwide Insure offer the following features that are often not available through other suppliers:
They can cover hirers from most countries (some limitations may apply if you want to use the car in your own country)
The Deluxe policy covers those belonging to a car club (such as Zip Car) and also loans from a garage, if your personal car was in for repair
They offer cover that can be shared between a number of family members
They offer full CDW insurance, which means they will cover the whole cost of the vehicle you are renting rather than just the excess.
All policies cover up to 4 named drivers between the ages of 21 and 85. An annual family policy will cover any of these 4 named drivers as a lead driver of any car hire, but you can only rent one car at a time.
All policies cover the tyres, wheels, roof, windows and the undercarriage of the car - not normally the case with policies offered by car rental companies.
Their 'Deluxe' policy automatically covers car club members, but also cars loaned from garages whilst your own car is in for repair or servicing. In addition to other benefits, such as key cover, misfuelling cover, personal accident and baggage cover.
The standard policies only cover an excess (the first part of a claim) of normally £5,000, but those policies with a £50,000 limit provide full Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). The company can arrange for your rental firm to be reimbursed directly in the case of a substantial claim. Their policies do not offer Supplementary Liability Insurance (SLI).
Worldwide Insure are underwritten by GBG Insurance Limited who are authorised and regulated by Guernsey Financial Services Commission, with their claims being handled by Claimez part of Strategic Insurance Services Ltd, both authorised and regulated by the FCA,
