This means that you can claim for the cost of a locksmith to get you back in your rented car if you happen to lock yourself out.
If you do lock yourself out, contact your car hire company first before calling a locksmith in order to get permission.
If excess waiver is taken from the car hire companies, it is not cover that is normally provided and therefore the costs are usually borne by the car hirer themselves.
