Three policy levels - Economy, Standard and Premier, offering different levels of cover
Offer policies for families, skiing, those going on a cruise and the over 65s (some at additional premiums)
Cruise and winter sports cover available
What we are not so keen on:
Winter sports cover is only for 'one trip' of up to 18 days on annual Standard policies - so useless for anyone who might go more often.
Single Trip Cover
For those aged up to and including 84 years old, although winter sports cover is not available for the over 64s. Covers many activities and sports free of charge, and an additional range of more extreme activities if you pay extra. They are clear on what activities they won't cover as well. Very clear website when it comes to tweaking the policy for additional elements, and explicitly covers cruises upon payment of an additional premium.
Annual (Multi Trip) Cover
Covering those up to 74 years old and trip lengths up to 32 days. Good sports coverage, but see comments above regarding single trip policies.
Winter Sports
Only offers cover for one winter sports holiday under their annual policies of up to 18 days in length (21 for premier policies) - if you have any plans to take more than one break look elsewhere. The activities Insurefor.com cover is reasonable. See more in our guides in our Ski section.
Travel Insurance for Cruises
Covered upon payment of an additional premium
Business
Cover for business equipment and money and also for emergency courier
Travelling whilst pregnant?
Provided you are not travelling against doctor's advice, Insurefor.com will cover you although cover is only given under Sections 1,3, 4 and 5 of the policy for claims arising from complications of pregnancy and childbirth (as explained in their definitions). You must not travel less than 8 weeks (16 weeks for multiples) prior to the expected delivery date.
'The following are included as standard, as long as they are amateur activities, conducted under adequate supervision and on an incidental basis.'
