Follow the instructions detailed in your car hire insurance policy. Normally you will pay the car hire company and when you return to the UK submit a claim to your excess insurer. If you do have concerns or difficulties do not hesitate to call your insurer - they will be happy to assist.
The claims process is pretty straightforward. Some companies have an online claims process, others ask that you call them to start the process.

Remember insurers on the MoneyMaxim car hire insurance service do not levy any excess, so your claim will be for the full costs of the claim, rather than you having to stand the first portion of the claim.
