Combining stainless steel with a sleek full-touch interface the Nokia C7 aims to be user friendly for social network enthusiasts with Facebook and Twitter updates fed directly to the home screen.
"The Nokia C7 is our second smartphone based on the new version of Symbian to hit the market," said Jo Harlow, Nokia smarphones head.
"Designed specifically with the style-conscious consumer in mind, the Nokia C7 also brings excellent social networking abilities, making it perfect for people who want to check-in and stay up to date."
Nokia is also planning to find the most active Facebook user from more than 1.4 million fans on the Nokia Facebook page to put through five finalists who will be expected to organise a party using only social networks.
The winner will be picked depending on who generates the most coverage via social networks for their party with updates and posts winning a Nokia C7 for themselves and 2 other friends.
Compare Nokia Phone Insurance
Although smartphones are built using the latest technology, the Nokia C7 being no exception, smartphones by their very nature are susceptible to damage due to their constant use. Not only are we dependent on them for phone calls and texts but now the new age of social media has taken over, people rely on them for entertainment too.
Even dropping a touch screen phone can cause considerable cracks to form which could affect the ability of the phone to function correctly. As such, it is recommended users take out suitable insurance to cover themselves in this event to save on costly repairs.
