Fortify are no longer offering car hire excess insurance

Fortify are a trading name for ActiveQuote, who were founded entrepreneur Dr Richard Theo in 2009, when they launched an online health insurance comparison service.

Since then they have grown steadily, and now offer a wide range of insurance comparison services such as dental insurance and life and income protection cover.

They established Fortify to enable them to reach outside their traditional markets, and in 2017 started offering Travel and Car Hire Excess Insurance policies, arranged through Rock Insurance. Policies are underwritten by Europ Assistance and regulated by the FCA.
