John Lewis Pet Insurance

John Lewis

John Lewis are rightly proud of their pet insurance which is deliberately designed for their type of customers. Policies have no upper age limits on vets fees and are designed for the long term.

Visit John Lewis

John Lewis Pet Insurance covers both cats and dogs and will help protect you against vet’s costs should your pet fall ill or be injured. John Lewis Pet Insurance also offers lots of useful extras not always found in other pet insurance policies.

For instance, they can pay your vet directly - provided they are set up to receive payments from the company - which means you don't need to worry about the vet's bills.

But even if it is you who will be reimbursed you will be not be waiting long - 95% of claims are paid within 5 days (May 23 - Oct 23).

They will cover up to £12,000 each year in vets fees

Emergency Dental Car is also included if it is required following an injury.

If you own a dog and they cause an accident, your policy could protect you against legal liability up to £3 million.

Pets can be covered from eight weeks old and there are no upper age limits on John Lewis policies for vet’s fees, although they are clear that policy costs may increase with the age of your pet - particularly if a claim has been made.

Coronavirus Support

John Lewis have made a number of amendments to their pet insurance to cater for potential situations than might come up through the pandemic. They will extend cover if you are stuck abroad with your pet for example, and also will cover your pet if you are temporarily away from home.
