How Old Must I be Before I can Hire a Van?

If you are unsure about whether you're old enough to hire a van, read on to find the minimum age explained!

Drivers generally (although do check the terms of every van hire agreement as there are always exceptions) need to be:

Panel Vans: 21 to 75 years old (although some suppliers may restrict young driver to 23 years).
Minibuses & Luton vans: 25 to 75 years. You may also find that suppliers add additional fees for young drivers - again these will be detailed in the terms.
