Spark Energy was started in 2007 with a focus on providing energy for the lettings industry meeting the particular needs of lettings agents, landlords and tenants. In October 2012, they launched their highly competitive Spark Advance tariff to a wider audience. Though it attracted a lot of new customers, it's fair to say that the company struggled to stay on top of servicing the new accounts. They now have a different array of tariffs.
Spark has merged with so no new customers car currently being taken on. Full details of the impact on existing customers can be found on their website. Spark Energy is no longer trading.
